When Windows XP went to retail back in 2001, Microsoft released the next major version of Microsoft Plus! This version, Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP, was intended to show off the full capabilities that Windows XP could offer on higher end machines. Windows XP was the last version of Windows that Microsoft made Plus! products for. In total, Microsoft made 3 Plus! products for Windows XP: Plus! for Windows XP, Plus! Digital Media Edition, and Plus! SuperPack (which combined the previous 2 into one package.) Plus! for Windows XP included a lot of digital media enhancements, but lacked the many immerse themes that Plus! 95 and 98 offered.
