When Windows 98 went into production, Microsoft released the sequel to the original version of Microsoft Plus! This new version, called Microsoft Plus! 98, brought a ton a new features to the Microsoft Plus! line of products. It was able to keep most of the original features from the Windows 95 version, and at the same time, introduced a variety of useful features that are still found in Windows today.
