WOW! How long has it been since I had one of these? About a year and a half? How times fly and all that rot. Anyway, Thentavius contacted me as he has some renewed "interest" with my guys. What caused this sudden "interest," you ask? Well, if you know Thent, then he is a fan of a certain type of RPG series (like a few others that I know). Of which, at least two have been converted to MUGEN in some way, shape or form. There are others that have been made, but these two are the prime focus as they are some of the God Slayers' top men. One of which is the top dog of the group.

P3 Hero by UN (of whom Thent has made his personality based on) and Hitoshura (a.k.a. Demi-Fiend) by YUUKI_in_SLASH both have fresh AI patches and Thent sent them out against me in a full all-out battle in yet another attempt to drive me nuts. Obviously, being the good friend that I am with our teams being rivals in their own right, I gladly accepted. However, the match came with stipulations:

1. 2v2 battle, 200% health, best 3 out of 5 rounds
2. Hitoshura must be in front.
3. One of the people on my team MUST be one of my leaders (either Zenith or Megaman) and that person is to be played me. An extra note is to be made that Buster Megaman was not to be played unless I consider my opponents were considered too tough.
4. The other must be another member that doesn't have leadership rank. (For the record, for those who read my team profile, not all members on the "Front Line" have leadership rank. Senority, yes, but not leadership.)

With that said, I decided to bring Megaman (by Jin Kazama) to the front as the more experienced in team battles. As for his partner, I chose Warachia (by 9) in his Actress Again version as support for a very particular reason: "turnabout is fair play," perhaps? Sorry, Thent. Your guys are strong, but still not quite strong enough.

Vucious' Random Rant: I think I shall use this space to explain how I went into battle. To be blunt, Warachia was close-range melee while Megaman was long-range with lots of Super Move use, particularly with the Rush Drill in the forefront. This is not my best use of Megaman thanks in no part to my new controller's shoulder trigger setup. You see, my controller now has a nasty habit to release a particular shoulder button at random despite me STILL HOLDING THE TRIGGER. These premature firings messes with my usual tactic as I'm always keeping the Mega Buster charged; as a result, it gives the false assumption that I'm spamming the buster when I'm trying to perform other attacks. As for "AA" Warachia, I'm learning him, but I'm not sure which mode should be my main mode, so I might not display him manually as of yet.

Finally, as a word of warning to all would-be challengers: "For each wind that is a soft, gentle breeze, that same wind may contain raging and violent storm that waiting to be released. Underestimate us and invoke the storm, and the consequences will be dire. Thus is the soul of the WindStreakers."
