Currently trying to figure out how to get this fully working, i tried this awhile back and would crash when going back the intro logo video. Now it seems to boot up. maybe its the new box or wine or dx wrapper that made it work, Maybe i did something wrong in the steps i took to get it boot properly. I got my steam copy of Gears 5 while using the Codex Hivebusters Crack and a fix found in this github post https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/3042#issuecomment-1046904681
I need to figure out a way to transfer my xbox account/profile from steam into the whereever the codex crack save is or maybe the gears 5 %appdata% local folder. Im not sure but i will research once i get more sleep. from reading steam forums only certain game features are accessible offline?? Need to find out more on this too.....

My steam game file size is about 94.5 GB
The codex steam save for gears seems to be located here..
