In order to VERY easily kill the Burdened Brother, there are a few things you must do first. Before taking him on, you must have beaten the game, and start New Game Plus. Once in New Game Plus, head to Central Nowhere by giving Eys in the Wall 1 Hardened Flesh. She can be found in the West Basement Stairwell (at least she has been there for me the last 2 playthroughs). You can get Hardened Flesh from the new Angel enemies that appear.

Once in Central Nowhere, you must spend at least 20 Hardened Flesh to be able to fight Ellie Erwood (God). Again, You can get these from the new Angel enemies, OR trade Corrupted Fingers or Ancient Blood to the Decrepit Doll in Central Nowhere. Use them to level up and increase your stats by talking to Millie Erwood 1891 IV in Central Nowhere (shadowy figure). Once you have spent 20, you can fight Millie Erwood (God). After killing Millie Erwood (God), talk to Millie Erwood 1891 IV back in Central Nowhere. She will tell you that you now have access to the Church of Burdens. BEFORE GRABBING THE BOOK, CLEAR OUT ENEMIES IN THE ROOMS NEAR THE MOUNTED MACHINE GUN YOU USE! This will make this MUCH, MUCH easier. Once all this is set up, head into the Church of Burdens.

Grabbing the Book of Burdens will give you the "Burdened" status, which causes ALL enemies to be WAY more powerful than normal. It also allows you to earn new black pages for the Bestiary by killing each one. Anyways, once you grab the Book, you will start getting hunted by the Burdened Brother. He will start just randomly appearing, so be careful!

Leave Central Nowhere, and RUN as fast as you can to your mounted machine gun. If the Burdened Brother has not started hunting you yet, either wait, or find him and lure him to the mounted machine gun. When you fire the mounted machine gun, you cannot take damage!

Time it so that right as he is readying a swing, you fire the machine gun. His attack will go through you, and you will deal damage. Every third shot will stagger him, and he MAY throw a knife at you since he is a distance away. The best thing to do once he is staggered is to wait and see if he throws one, or walks back to you. If he kneels down, be careful! He is going to charge you, and will carry you all the way to the other side of the room, slamming you into the wall, and dealing some pretty hefty damage.

After he does a charge attack, move past the machine gun a good distance, and when he gets withing range, he will throw a knife at you. Wait until it is kinda close, and you can duck under it (lol). After that, roll through him, and go to town on him again with the mounted machine gun. Repeat this process, and time the mounted machine gun attacks right, and he will go down easy! Make sure to have a bunch of healing items just in case! Congrats, you got Bestiary page 81 super easy! You do NOT want to go toe to toe with this guy as a melee build! Also, doing this while Burdened will give you his black page, so try to do it with the Book of Burdens still in your possession!
