I like ORATE as my starting word as I get three great vowels and two great letters. I started ok hitting R and E but they are yellow. Many people use those letters to find out their spot in the word but I prefer to find other letters instead of trying to hit a green with a known letter. So I use the charts and see L and N show up next to R and E a lot. So the frequency output shows me the other popular letters so I guess LYSIN and yes I want to make sure a Y is not sneaking in. Sure enough the chart pays off and L is hit and green! L does show next to E a lot. Now its even easier as I hit a vower, the I. This leads to only one possbile word, LIVER. A hard word having a V that I never guessed. I am happy getting this wordle in three guesses. I do not the L is not next to the E which is funny. I will take the luck.
