237Here's our First Look at Tier IX Premium American battleship USS Kearsarge. Following up on the introduction of Japanese hybrids Ise and Tone, Wargaming seems interested in expanding the hybrid concept to other nations... and thus, Kearsarge. This bizarre-looking abomination is actually a real design generated by American firm Gibbs & Cox for the Soviet Union in the late 1930's. Of course, she was never constructed or even laid down. The mad lads on the Warships team in St. Petersburg have seen fit to introduce her into the game flying the Stars and Stripes, so let's look around and see if we can understand what his thing is and what she's packing.
