This map is remarkably unique. A herd of arch-viles are in the start point, then you have only a pistol. You have to run from the mad situation, or you are hunted by them. There are a lot of imps after a red cave. Fortunately, you can pick up an invulnerability but you still have no weapons. Go to the next red cave with standing imp's scratches. You eventually can get a shotgun when you fall to the blood waterfall in the back to the cave.
An invulnerability will appear when you get BFG in the exit room, so you can get a chance to wipe out arch-viles. They blow you away by their spell and rob you of your movement even if you never receive any damage.
