Worms: Open Warfare 2 - Nintendo DS Gameplay
0In 2007, Team17 released a direct follow-up to Worms: Open Warfare, with THQ helping with the publishing once again. Team17 themselves developed the PSP version, but once again the Nintendo DS counterpart was developed by someone else. This time around, Two Tribes was put in charge of developing the DS version.
You may have certainly heard of Two Tribes before, as they were the studio behind Toki Tori (both the GBC original and the 2008 remake), Edge, Rubik's World, Rush and Toki Tori 2+. Rive was their final game, and after the Switch port of Swords & Soldiers was released in 2019, the studio went MIA. Nobody knows what happened to them. Heck, even I don't know their fate. However, I did learn they also have some of the more unusual titles under their belt, including the Nokia N-Gage port of Worms World Party, Bonk's Return for J2ME and BREW phones, Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties (or simply Garfield 2) for the DS, Frenzic for Nintendo DSi and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs for iOS.
