Unsurprisingly, as usual, Blizzard seems to have no interest in implementing a relatively simple logic that dissuades people from exploiting the AH system to rip people off with pretty much automated trick listings. - Even though this not only requires good attention all the time, but can block you from using the AH properly when every time you want to buy a quantity, it tells you it's no longer available.

But thus, if you are fresh on a new realm, you can increase your little gold in the beginning without having to beg, by doing a good thing, albeit in the big picture futile, and buy all those scam listings and then resell for a regular price.
