Wuchang: Fallen Feathers - No Microtransactions. No Season Pass. Just A Complete Game For $49.99
Between overpriced games, microtransactions, battle passes, season passes, etc., it's an expensive time to be a gamer. Thankfully, the year has delivered some strong new releases at affordable price points, and we're not just talking about the indies. Take, for example, Leenzee's Wuchang: Fallen Feather.
As a Souls-like action RPG, it offers about 40 to 60 hours of gameplay on average, and that's only for a single playthrough. You can experiment with different weapons and spells, complete side quests to unlock different endings and much more. And even if the genre is starting to wear on you, Wuchang offers plenty of new features and options for a relatively fresh experience.
All of this for just $49.99 without any additional costs (and it's available on Game Pass as well). Given all the titles deciding between $70 and $80 pricing, and the uncertainty over the future, it's nice to see more games embrace a lower price while delivering a consistently enjoyable vision that's worth your time.
