WWF Royal Rumble (Super NES Version) - Royal Rumble Mode Longplay - Level: 10 (Hardest)
- WWF Royal Rumble (Super NES Version) - Royal Rumble Mode Longplay - Level: 10 (Hardest) -
Unlike the one-on-one mode, the Royal Rumble mode offers 10 difficulty levels, and when you choose the highest one, you'll immediately notice a significant increase in competition. While the AI isn't extraordinarily brilliant, it can now time its attacks and swiftly eliminate you, if you drop your guard or lose focus.
But hey, It's the Royal Rumble, every man for himself and often, it feels like every wrestler is against you. This means you must constantly watch your back to avoid being hit or thrown over the top rope.
You'll be surprised at how rapidly your energy gauge depletes, but that's where the fun begins because you'll enter survival mode, basically. A single strike can now knock you down and leave you an easy target for elimination.
Overall, this mode lives up to its name and doesn't disappoint. Successfully executing your strategy and emerging as the winner in this chaotic ring is incredibly rewarding. Punches and kicks remain more effective than other moves, maneuvers, or cheap shots (like choking or eye raking).
It may not be the most technically advanced wrestling game from the 90s, but it excels in creating an atmospheric and intense brawling experience where only the toughest claim victory.
