3The first appearance of DLC content! The weapons added in the Alien Hunters DLC are a lot of fun to use, and are incredibly powerful. Yes, I do kind of double load my character up (and not necessarily for the best...clearly, the shinobi class works best with more mobility, which means SMG's are preferred, but I love the boltcaster, and therefore give it to my character. Because fuck you, he's me! I GET ALL THE COOL STUFF!)
Anyway, we will get to see these weapons in action for the first time, and they do not disappoint. On top of that, I show off a mod that tries to do a little more with the stealth mechanics. While I eventually decide it is not something I want to keep on my character, you will see these mechanics and weapons utilized later in the campaign. The mod that adds these spec ops weapons is called Spec Ops: Combat Knives. It is fantastic, and I highly recommend it. The author also has a few other mods, including the new katanna mod, which introduces a ninja-to that also uses his stealth kill mechanics. So, I definitely recommend these mods, if you are looking for a little more emphasis on the Guerrilla/Stealth side of the narrative.
