While most of today went pretty smoothly, I got a real scare when I game overed due to funding. Yea, because of a big mistake I made at the beginning of the game I severely hurt my progress. I figured that, since this was Terror of the Deep, I wanted my bases to cover as much ocean as possible. Unfortunately, most of the alien activity is near the shore lines. My bases are too far away to detect the enemy activity, which is why I'm sitting with nothing happening most of the time. Which means I'm not getting as much loot... and I'm running low on resources. Combine that with the failed terror missions, and... things are spiraling.

But it's not without hope. I did have enough to sell to cover the costs, and was able to continue. I just need to keep and eye on that from now on. Today ends though with a fresh squad of rookies in not great gear about to hit another terror mission. Joy... -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
