X2 - How to make money Mid-End game (Taxi)
0These videos showcase which missions give you the most money mid-game; when you save up for your wonderful M2 :-)
These missions randomly appear on stations, so have a fast M5 and fly to each in every sector to find the missions you want to do!
If you have a pretty high trading rank, the fastest and best mission to get money are the Taxi missions!
In these you have a few minutes to get a person from one station to the other AND THEN he'll ask you to wait and you'll fly him to the next station and so on until it's just not doable anymore!
(you'll get 1 minute to fly to a stations several sectors away! - a M5 has no jumpdrive!)
Look for this kind of mission and if you get 80-100k for the first run, you'll end up getting 500k(!) for the last few transits!!
AND you can always just reload the auto-savegame if you don't like the next randomly chosen destination :D

X2 was the last X game with cockpits (and real joystick support). It has amazing graphics and sound!
But I have to apologize: the sound effects in these videos is way off... could be the EAX and 5.1 surround sound conflicting with Fraps capturing under WinXP; I don't really know :-\
