Hello YouTube. We get together for a Domination battle as we experience the return of 4-player splitscreen support for the CoD franchise. A big THANK YOU to Treyarch!
We practice as I explain to my folks how to handle Domination, CoD most popular objective mode if am not mistaken. The chosen map is also very popular from what I heard. Seems even smaller than most, which makes it very nice for the kind of battle I had in mind. During the 1st half, my opponents where a bit lost, doing better in the 2nd. Turns out my teammate didn't brought her glasses, so she couldn't see 100%, lol. As for myself, I failed to change to Nomad with the Hive, so I had to make due with Spectre's Ripper.
First off, the 2 custom changes are: the Scorestreak multiplier increased as described below and Health set to 200% max, to give us more resilience when going up against the GI Units.
Since we where not playing with AI Bots, I wanted to see what the battle would look like if all 4 of us solely used the GI Unit Scorestreak insted. Due to it's expense (the GI is 2nd only to the Mothership) I upped the Scorestreak multiplier to 2.5, which I felt was still insufficient for this kind of botless scenario. Went for the full 5 setting in our next match.
Comparing it to the Talon and Cerberus, the GI lacks the ability to be manually controlled, but gains the escort mode (like the Talon) and patrol mode, in a package that's better in every way. It looks like when the Cerberus is left on it's own, it just goes around all over the map, where as the game does explain that when a GI is put on patrol, it will remain in the general area from the point of origin, making it more efficient.
I guess GIs can serve as an alternative if one is not quite fond of AI Bots.
