We play as:

First player: Boba Fett.
Blaster: Boba Fett's EE-3.
Abilities: Concussion Rocket, For the Hunt, Rocket Barrage, Jetpack.
Boost Cards: Intense Barrage, Acute Concussion, Focalize.
Passive Abilities: Health on Elimination.

Second player: Lando Calrissian.
Blaster: Lando Calrissian's X-8 Night Sniper.
Abilities: Smoke Grenade, Sharp Shot, Disabler.
Boost Cards: Hot and Cold, Wide Eyed, Lingering Smoke.
Passive Ability: Health on Elimination.

One expectation that I had to adjust was that the shock created by detonating Lando's Disabler is not enough to kill. True to it's name, it only temporary "disables" enemies, making them easier to get by other means. So remembered, it's not as lethal as the ARC Trooper's Shock Trap.

But otherwise, I'm was able to clearly see here that the Smoke Grenade does work properly against AI opponents, preventing them from taking a shot at me while I can take on them thank's to Lando's Thermal Scope.

I could see it also caused Boba Fett to fly out of hiding!
