No battle chatter/commentary. In preparation of a Finn vs Captain Phasma match, I take the former for a solo spin. However, not without seriously upping the difficulty... Vid timeline:

(0:00) Intro.

(1:15) Match begins.

I play as:

First player: Finn.
Blaster: Finn's EL-16.
Abilities: Deadeye, Big Deal, Undercover Team.
Boost Cards: In Charge, I Can Do This, Never Going Back.

In addition to setting AI Bot difficulty on Expert and adjusting the Ability recharge to Slow, which is how we always play, Player health has been dropped to One Hit! What's more, the teams are uneven, with me only having one bot at my side, versus a team of four!

Can Finn emerge victorious against such difficult odds?

I describe Finn as a Medic/Recon Hero. Definitely the type that serves better if he remains within close proximity from friendlies since his Big Deal and Undercover Team abilities grants multiple benefits to all friendlies within a substantial radius around him.

First impressions, definitely the most team orientated Hero of the bunch. He should prove interesting in 8v8s and 10v10s especially. On smaller engagements, perhaps not as much.

Due to the hardcore settings of this match, I gained practice using Big Deal to manage incoming fire and Undercover Team to keep my distance.

Which leaves us with Dead Eye. This would be Finn's damage dealer. And the one that I would need to keep in reserve when going head to head with Captain Phasma.

It is an "Aim Bot" of sorts, making it much easier to hit enemies. But only one at a time. One has to keep an eye out for a targeting box highlighting those who get affected.

The problem that I'm having with Finn is that all his abilities are blaster related. One has to keep an eye on which ones prevent him from throwing punches. Basically, the ones that activate the typical hexagon icon in one's HUB display. Losing track of that can lead to some frustrating moments.

This is true for a lot of characters. But Finn takes that to another level. This would be another reason why Finn needs to stay away from hand to hand as much as possible.
