A number of places have since nicknamed it the Xbox 180 after Microsoft did exactly that. On June 19th, Microsoft issued an update to their Xbox One FAQ that listed the following changes based on consumer feedback. It will no longer have 24 hour online authentication. All game discs operate just like they do right now on the Xbox 360 which also means that trading games is back in the cards. You do require an internet connection for the initial set up of the console but that's a pretty minor issue and one of the biggest items on the list, region locking is no longer a problem.
