Xbox Series X "Solves" Last Gen Problems | PS5 UI Patent Surfaces | AAA Dev Growth "Unsustainable"
458The Xbox Series X has "solved" last gen's problems, according to The Medium devs Bloober Team. The main focus was of course the SSD, which is going to cut down massively on loading times and has a huge effect on game development.
A patent for the PS5's UI has surfaced, and it looks very familiar, albeit with some interesting new features... but will they be in the final Playstation 5 GUI?
Ex-Playstation boss Shawn Leyden has said that the current AAA development growth is "unsustainable", and he feels that how games are made and their retail price may have to change.
