0Finally able to get some synergy going between my operative and codex (sorry that sounds kinda wrong now after reading that sentence again).

The operative is a great unit with lots of useful abilities but he's pretty expensive and a little too fragile to rely on by itself. However, when paired up with other good units like the codex or a sniper, he can control the tide of the battle.
I took a risk exposing my operative and whiffing on a mind control attempt, but luckily he didn't use any of his abilities for guaranteed damage and he missed with his officer's frag grenade.
