One of the many bugs in XCOM Enemy Within Multiplayer.
I'm about 90% sure that if you kill your opponent's entire team but he has a battle scanner that's still in play, your turn will not end and you won't get the victory counted towards your win total.

Here my two commandos face a single archangel sniper. When he throws out a battle scanner I am forced not to attack him for fear of causing the bug to activate and putting the game in an unwinnable state.

This vid also happens to show a lightning reflexes bug where a sniper can still hit your assault with overwatch even though he has lightning reflexes.... c'mon firaxis, I know no one cares about this stuff but me, but please fix these bugs...
