XCOM 2 VR method 1: ST1080 HMD TriDef 3D 60 FPS Zeiss Tracking view on your Oculus Rift HTC Vive...
This is a 60 FPS 3D HMD capture of me having a bad day at the office in Fireaxis XCOM2 , in the finest HMD you can use to game, the ST1080... you can view this on your Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Google Cardboard and other FOV2GOVR clones...but the 3D is far more effective on the ST1080 or any non FOV2GOVR 3D device. The head tracker here moves the cursor , so we get a look to move option. Being Unreal Engine based it runs incredibly well, 1080p 3D at 60 FPS. And 3D does add something, just check out the depth in the cross section of the Avenger. True presence comes not from your 90hz phone panels glued into a muppet foam ski mask connected to a 4K costing Rig , but from good gameplay and narrative, as anyone who played XCOM or Rebel Star Raiders back in the ZX Spectrum era can tell you ( the rest is PR chasing VC chasing PR). What so few people ( no one) has experience of is the quality of 3D is far greater on LFOV HMDs like the ST1080, not to mention 0 SDE or nausea than so called "VR " HMDs...
