Jana Hauffman was just another young child on scorched lands of Austria. ADVENT, to better outfit their own forces, were searching for any humans with potent psionic capability. Jana was found to be one of the psionics and she was kept in captivity.
After several years, the Resistance group, called Templars by themselves, managed to find out the exact position of this ADVENT prison center and storm it. There were many losses, but Jana survived. Her mental trauma was enough for her to forget her own past life, but several Templars sympathised with the young girl and took her with themselves directly to Geist.
After almost 15 years of being a Templar, Jana is fanatically devoted to the cause and believes Geist to be a deity. Just like Boltos Barta before her, Jana offered herself to join the XCOM. And Geist didn't stop her from becoming one of XCOMs.Despite being in XCOM and being a target for flirty hitting on her because of her youthful looks, Jana remains fantastically locked on the task. The only true friend of hers here is Papatamelis.
She loves to sense any disturbance and pronouncing her every move at every opportunity. She dislikes the flirty behaviour of other XCOM operatives around her but otherwise tolerates it.
