The Resolutor is just that - a force of nature that comes and resolutes difficult situations. He doesn't even care about others in his squad, he needs to get the job done.
He earned his place in XCOM thanks to solving certain difficult situations in anti-terror operations. Some special ops noted his particular cold-bloodness in those situations. This is not a coincidence. He was betrayed by his girlfriend, betrayed by his (former) friends. He had paid them back - without deaths, but not without a heavy price.
His sociopath attitude helps XCOM to win against aliens. But Resolutor won't make it easy for others to troll him - he will just kill them and be done with them.
Resolutor hates every human being. He actually likes aliens, because he thinks that they're just slaves, not really malicious.
