XCOM: Enemy Within - Episode 79 (Morbid Fear, concluded!)
925th of September, 2015:
Proceeding forward (ever forward) having already dealt with two surprise encounters from high threat enemies, the team's confidence was high, though given their surroundings it would be hard to say their spirits were similarly high.
Having already thinned out the enemy ranks, the team encountered less opposition as they continued on towards what we can only assume is the mission control centre of the whole base, but despite the decreased resistance, I had the troops proceed with caution. While it is easy to assume the enemies numbers are down, without knowing how high they were to begin with we couldn't afford to stride confidently into a potential ambush.
Still, given how important this facility must be to the aliens, I'm surprised that we're facing relatively weak aliens here. Perhaps these are the equivalent of staff, rather than soldiers?
