Whether driven by the knowledge that failure here could costs the lives of millions of civilians, or spurred on by previous victories, the squad performed exceptionally in operation Lazy Bell.

Through a combination of mimetic skin and the awesome fire power of the Paladin class MEC suit, the team were able to make swift progress through the area of operations, often wiping out entire squads of Thin Men before they even had a chance to react to being under fire.

In fact, the team were able to quickly disable the aliens bomb with barely any return fire from the aliens, and following that, it was a simple matter of cleaning up the remaining enemy forces. And although our team didn't escape entirely without incident, only superficial injuries were sustained, and those by our least experienced troops, so nothing particularly unexpected.

However, saying that, I must note that the performance of the newer members of the team was outstanding, far beyond any expectations!

Now that the troops are safely back at base, and with yet more panic reduced about the globe, it's time to focus on some of the numerous research requests that have been building up on my desk for the past few days.
