0Ever wondered how fast you can beat the game using the easiest custom difficulty settings possible? You're in luck because that's what this speedrun is all about. After the first inn in Argentum, you can enable custom difficulty settings (as well as BoC) after accepting the expansion pass stuff. These are the settings for minimum custom difficulty:
-Lowest enemy attack power
-Lowest enemy attack frequency
-Lowest enemy hp
-Lowest enemy debuff duration
-Highest player blade combo duration
-Highest party gauge gains
-Highest special recharge rate
-Highest player health restoration
-These last two you unlock later (chain attack damage multiplier and pneuma depletion rate), but they are on the highest and lowest settings respectively by default
My original attempt of this category was over a year ago when I was much less experienced with the game, so this run in a way demonstrates the huge amount I've improved in that time. This run itself, going into it with a rough route in mind, was decent but there's some room for improvement, especially Jin 3 which is the worst fight in the run by far. You'd need very good blade pulls, little error in every fight, and to pull off every skip fast to be able to achieve sub 3:20, which is asking for a lot
