Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Part 34: Lethal Lila on the Loose!
After meeting the Nopon Muimui at Mor Ardain's Alba Cavanich, he invited Rex's whole group to the local inn for them to enjoy its hot springs.
Time in the hot springs are seperated by gender. We see how the ladies of the team enjoy their time in the water.
Nia and Poppi are already in the spring. Nia was surprised that Poppi, a robot, was waterproof. She didn't expect Tora to be so thoughtful with her.
Nia sense that Pyra was on her way to join them, but then she turned around and saw Mythra, instead. She was quite impressed with her figure. Mythra personally wanted to be the active form to take a dip in the spring after Pyra told her about them.
After a time to unwind, Nia decided she was done and stood up. Mythra noticed... something on her body when she stood up. Nia was... something other than what she presented herself as, before. Whatever this was, Mythra (and Poppi) promised to keep this discovery a secret from the guys.
Later on, all of the girls finished their good soak. Mythra, being sealed away for 500 years, wasn't able enjoy something like that for that much time.
But yes, Mythra can switch back and forth between Pyra for active control. They are two bodies that share the same memories.
Something was happening outside, so the girls went back to the boy to group up and figure out the disturbance.
----------
In the meet up, Rex was surprised to see Mythra instead of Pyra. In return, Mythra wanted to make herself more comfortable around him and adjust her powers, so she wanted Rex to settle on her being the active form of his Blade for a while.
Rex was find with this, because now he was able to learn more about both Pyra and Mythra, not only as Blades, but also as people.
----------
As it was made already clear, Mythra is much stronger than Pyra. At this point, the game is letting you stick with Mythra as Rex's main Blade for a bit, while Pyra will only appear in certain cutscenes.
Mythra's Level 4 Special, Sacred Arrow, has a drawback: It can't be used indoors. If you try that, Mythra apologizes and refuses. The Special meter will drop back down to Level 3 so you can just use her Lightning Buster, instead.
For a little bit, travel around the roofs of the Alba Cavanich reach the next plot points. There will be Ardainian Soldiers around, but you do not have to fight all of them.
----------
The Ardainian Soldiers were trying to shoot down a fast target, but she was bulletproof and knocked them to the ground. It seemed that this enemy was some kind of machine.
The being removed her shroud and the moonlight revealed her appearance. Tora recognized her as Lila.
The team had to keep chasing after Lila, who didn't look like she wanted to fight them, right now.
----------
The chase eventually lead the team back to ground level.
Tora explained to the team that Lila was an artificial Blade that his Dadapon and Grampypon.
Lila the suddenly wanted to fight the team, after all, after detecting Poppi's ether furnace.
----------
Lila couldn't handle the team-up against her, so she fled once more.
That was definitely the same artificial Blade that Soosoo and Tatazo were working on. Tora explained that all three of them wanted to be Drivers, and built Lila in an attempt to workaround their failures of bonding with Core Crystals.
But then masked Nopon stormed in on them with Tirkins and threatened the trio's lives. Soosoo was shot to death as a result, so Tatazo parted with Tora by giving him something that would help him finish their goal all on his own.
That was the last time Tora saw his father, let alone the end of his father's father... The only plus from this is that Tatazo's gift that Tora used to build Poppi.
That masked shooter was definitely trying to steal Lila, but somehow now Lila was able to get way from him, despite not having been finished.
Perhaps there was a correlation to that...? Perhaps Tatazo was still alive? And if he was, he must've been captured, so then Tora wants to find that kidnapper and save his father!
