Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Part 72: Raising Poppi & Ursula Higher
Here's me going through some more Blade shenanigans during Chapter 8 of this game.
Poppi actually has a third form past her Alpha an QT forms, but to first trigger this, you need to find a certain Heart-to-Heart of hers in the Leftherian Archipelago.
There are two long paths you could choose from to reach Rex's Fonsett Village, but I didn't take the one that contained that Heart-to-Heart I'm looking for. So I have to reach there on foot.
----------
For it, "Growing Up" has Poppi in her Quixotic Tutelar or QT form, but Pyra took note of how Poppi was still herself even if she now had a different look.
Tora had actually planned a third form for Poppi to gain, which meant he would have to give that form a name of its own, making him have to keep up with three names for Poppi.
You get to choose how Pyra responds to how Tora feels about just simplifying to just call Poppi "Poppi", though I highly suggest just having Pyra ask what Poppi's third form is like.
Regardless of your chose, just complete this Heart-to-Heart, and you'll be able to take on the quest that involves Poppi realizing this third form as so as Rex's entire group is back together at Chapter 8. I will cover what that's about in the next couple of videos for this playthrough.
----------
I actually do return to Fonsett Village to see what I can do there. Take a rest in Corinne's house, and Pyra will want Rex to bring her back to his parents' graves.
This is for the Heart-to-Heart, "By the Graveside", where Pyra "speaks" to Rex's parents, to tell them about all her time with Rex ever since she met him, and how she'll dedicated her life to looking after him as they would've wanted to do, themselves, but Rex took a slight offense to that.
Azurda joked around that Rex & Pyra were arguing like they were a married couple. *Hmmm...*
You get to choose what Pyra asks Rex about while they're there away from everyone else (besides Gramps, that is).
----------
If you got enough of those Stamps for Ursula to bring all of her skills to Level 2, go to Tipitapi in Argentum, and he will want her to put on a show for the residents there. Once again, the poor girl was pretty shy about this because this took her by surprise.
Rex and his friends had to warm her up and calm her down before she could stand on stage.
At first, she was once more playing the Torigonda beautifully, but the sight of seeing so many more people watch her caused her to stop from stage fright. The audience was wondering what just happened.
Turning back to Tipitapi, Ursula felt embarrassed by that moment and severely doubted her talents. However, Tipitapi was not worried, because even a fraction of her music still caught the eyes and hearts of Argentum's people, and that there's still room for more improvement, and that Ursula gained a fan club for how much she's done so far.
----------
The next big step to raising Ursula like this is to bring all three of her categories to Level 4. So just keep putting her through more Lessons so you can get more Stamps.
It is a mercy that I'm able to do this while taking care of other things, such as showing how to get Poppi's third form.
There is an old storage room in Argentum that you had to buy to use. If you have Sheba in your party, you'll see that she put a special bank of hers in there.
You have to deposit huge sums of Gold in that bank if you want to increase and unlock more of Sheba's Affinity Chart. If you've seen my earlier videos that put a lot of time into Salvaging, then this was one of the reasons for it.
You will typically unlock more of her Affinity Chart for every 200,000G you deposit.
