It's been a while, but yeah I'm alive lol.


This video shows a way to get to Fornis early in NG+ by jumping off Kilmarris Highland before the next cutscene of the sequence in Ch2. Sadly there's not a whole lot to do, not speedrun-worthy, and you can't go to the upper part of Fornis due to not having access to vine climbing, but it's still interesting! I don't know if I'm the first one to do this, but I've found it on my own. (Edit: someone found it before me, Sonicshadowsilver2. Whoops!)

The reason why it's NG+-specific is that you need Speed Jogger to make the fall on the right part of the rock formation. Unlike XC2, Speed Jogger thus non-negligeably affects air movement, or at least the initial momentum off a floor. (It's unbearably barely not doable in NG lol)

Edit 2: completing Alexandria's quest before talking to Ethel atop Galghour's Menhir in Ch3 will softlock the game, as the supply airdrop that's supposed to appear after talking to Ethel will not show up, while you are locked out of character control (since it's supposed to be the airdrop tutorial in NG), so handle this matter with caution!
