Xenoblade Chronicles - Exploring the World in First Person (Dolphin Ishiiruka)
19I discovered that Dolphin and Dolphin Ishiiruka have a "Free Look" feature that allows you to move the camera around freely in 3D games using your computer mouse. So what I did was use the Free Look function to place the camera roughly around Melia's face and from there I can still control the game's regular camera controls with the right stick of my controller as if it were a first person game.
This isn't really a "true" first person mode and I wouldn't recommend legitimately playing the game this way as it's a little finnicky and you have to hold the ZL button to prevent the camera from turning with your character's movements. However, it's a nice way to get a closer look at the game's pretty environments as well as the monsters, which of course look better with all of the graphics enhancements I have applied.
Someone may have tried this before but I couldn't find anything in a Google search and I have more or less fine-tuned my ideal look for the game so I thought I might as well show it off.
The main enhancements I am using are:
-1440p native resolution (video recorded in 4K for better bit rate on YouTube)

-HD Expansion Pack (this has been discontinued)
