Cemu Emulator version 1.17.4 just released (3/20/2020) and it allows for Xenoblade Chronicles X to finally be played in more than just Singlecore-recompiler. Before, trying Double or Triplecore-recompiler would result in a black screen, but now the game properly boots. This should allow Xenoblade Chronicles X to possibly perform better on more people's PCs as well as help maintain framerate, specifically with the 60fps patch.

While I was getting good performance and an almost entirely solid 60fps on previous versions of Cemu with Singlecore-recompiler, 1.17.4 is probably the best and most compatible Xenoblade Chronicles X has ever been in this regard. With that being said, I hate to say that 60fps does not seem like a valid way to play. If one were to still get below 60fps at all, the game will slow down. The biggest issue is that the 60fps patch affects timers and counters in the game, particularly the Overdrive counter, making it extremely difficult to maintain Infinite Overdrive. An example of this is shown in the video.
