In this video, we continue our brief journey into my favorite game of all time, Xenoblade Chronicles X. XCX was released in 2015 for the Nintendo Wii U and is the second entry in the critically-acclaimed Xenoblade series. In comparison to other Xenoblade games, it takes emphasis off of the story somewhat with a much larger focus on worldbuilding, exploration, and sidequesting.
In this episode, we begin Chapter 3, which is when the game starts to open up. We are tasked with finding a missing team in the east of Primordia. Along the way, we get to buy some new gear and set up our team. We get to play as Lin, and she’s pretty fun! A girl named Satie gives us a quest to check on her friend in the South Janpath Plain in Primordia. When we get there, we see he’s wrecked his skell in a fight with a Duoguill. We help him out by killing it. Then, we proceed onto our main destination at Seaswept Ridge in Primordia. But when we get there, we find the wreckage of some skells, and hostile alien life forms called Prone. They attack, and we have to kill them and invade their base to find the missing BLADES.
