Xenoblade Chronicles X | Cup o' Joe | Part 4 - Tackling Terrifically Terrifying Tyrants
Part 4 of my Cup o’ Joe coverage of Xenoblade Chronicles X | Tackling Terrifically Terrifying Tyrants
In this video, we continue our brief journey into my favorite game of all time, Xenoblade Chronicles X. XCX was released in 2015 for the Nintendo Wii U and is the second entry in the critically-acclaimed Xenoblade series. In comparison to other Xenoblade games, it takes emphasis off of the story somewhat with a much larger focus on worldbuilding, exploration, and sidequesting.
In this episode, we get more of a tour around NLA with Lin and Elma. In particular, we see the Administrative District up close. We see the BLADE concourse, armory alley, division drive, blade tower, and so much more! We then meet up with Nagi again and get sent on a practice BLADE mission. We have to install a new data probe at a FrontierNav site just outside of NLA in Primordia. However, when we get there we see a giant insect like enemy called a cinicula standing over a pile of dead Simius. Elma tells us that this is a tyrant, a special kind of Indigen that’s much more powerful than the rest of its species. We decide we have to kill it so it can’t hurt anyone, and after we do we can plant the data probe and finish the episode.
Cup o’ Joe is my series of one-off videos here on YouTube. Anytime I make a video of a game that I do not intend to expand into a full let’s play, it becomes Cup o’ Joe. This may include coverage of recent releases, holiday special videos, one-off multiplayer content, or just any random game I feel like playing for whatever reason.
