When I first did Xenoblade X on the Nintendo Wii U, this was where I would make sure that all loose ends are tied up. The same happens here in the Definitive Edition, but the playthrough is NOT over yet.
We take on the last of the affinity missions. Up first is Mia Grows Up. This is the only affinity mission you have with Mia. Basically, we have to hepl Mia with a mission of her own. She needs to help a Nopon named Tora become independent. So, we have to get a few items for him. Once that's done, we head to Oblivia. Tora reunites with his mother. But his father is missing so we got to head to one of the floating islands. Mother and father reunite with Tora, all while showing that he has become a bonafide merchant. For Mia, this is a learning experience all things considered.
And finally, the last mission of the original Xenoblade X, Then and Now. Elma wants us to head to a point in Primordia to get a view of New LA. After they reflect on everything, they encounter a tough foe. But he's a pushover. Turns out its personal to Elma. It killed Danny and Boris, former team members. She lost them due to her poor judgment. We then head to Oblivia and save a group of Reclaimers from two Level 80 Gleaming Sphinxes. If you guys have powerful Skells, they are legit no issues. That's pretty much it.
With it, we're pretty much done with Xenoblade X. But this is the Definitive Edition, we have more. Part 43 begins the first act of Chapter 13: Cause and Effect.
