Xenoblade Chronicles X - How to Get to the Top of the Large Northwestern Mining Frigate, No Flight
This video shows how to go from the area around the teleporter under Trueno, the Cataclysm, to the top of the large northwestern Forgotten Mining Frigate without a Flight Module.
Defeat Trueno, the Cataclysm. Dismiss all of your party members except for your main character and another character with a Skell. Have your Skell character get inside their Skell, then change to your main character. Your Skell character will still be inside their Skell. Use the nearby teleporter.

To perform it the way I did:
Have 5 Secondary Cooldown Reducer Augments equipped on your Weapons, and 5 Aura Rapid Cooldown Augments equipped on your Armor. I used Weapons-Counter-bought weak weapons and a 100 Beam Resistance Reginal set.
After using the teleporter, if you don't already have 1000 TP, use Blood Sacrifice to get at least 1000 TP. Disengage to heal. Get the Definian Clone's attention, run around to the northeast side of the small Forgotten Mining Frigate, and WAIT for her to get close. Jump to the place shown, use a long-lasting Aura (like Early Bird), then use Sky High and Ghostwalker in VERY QUICK succession. If you take to long to activate Arts one after another, you will fall. After I got high enough, I used Sliding Slinger to get lateral movement and get my character to the top of the frigate.

To perform it, transform in and out of vehicle mode (always ending by going into vehicle mode), go into the Skell Gear menu, and change a piece of gear so that your Skell's model reloads on the gameplay screen. This resets the effect gravity has on your Skell. Repeat.
Feel free to save often!
This video can be used to get to the Strange Petrified Tree, Biological Lv.5, on the large northwestern Forgotten Mining Frigate.

Special thank you got Kagpha2001 on Twitter and Ze1dahead for the techniques used in this video. Special thank you to Fahim for the inspiration to get a file with a jumping Skell set up.
