This video shows how to get to Sunlit Spring early in Chapter 4. The map shows this area to be your goal, but you actually have to trigger a cutscene to the north before a cutscene will play in the Sunlit Spring area.

This video contains an advanced technique found by gazo_toka on Twitter that only works on certain slopes. To perform it, run towards the slope, and let go of the control stick. During the skidding animation, press to jump straight up, then quickly hold forward. Your character will land further up the slope.

On the types of slopes where you can perform the trick in this video, if you don't jump quickly enough after the skidding animation begins, you will fall. If you jump before skidding, you will fall unless you are high enough to reach traversable terrain.
