I am yelling about the absolute state of the assassins creed franchise. I was barely able to finish origin, enjoyed odyssey but think it took way too damn long and was skipping content by the end. I own all of the DLC for odyssey but still haven't gone back to play it cause it just feels like a chore at this point. Valhalla has been sitting on my shelf since launch and haven't been able to work up the nerve to start playing it.
Now Ubisoft has announced not one but FOUR new assassins creed games. Mirage, jade, red and hexe. Why so many games at once?
Mirage actually looks like it has the aesthetic I loved of the original AC but knowing the company now idea I just cant get excited. Jade is a mobile game, red is just pandering to the ghost of tsushima crowd and Hexe... I dont event know what the hell hexe is.
I'm just ready for assassins creed to go away at this point or get a reboot.
