Ok technically there's a Xingqiu there but he's voiced by a girl. Also I had no idea what to title this one and for some reason this song came into my head lol
That said it was definitely a night. Just realizing now it was also literally night in game too. Anyway following Yoimiya's banner I was at a 0 to pity with a guarantee so seeing my 91 Fates in stock I knew I was for sure getting Kokomi. But how great was it to get Dori in 28 and then Kokomi at 30? I'm now reset on pity again but you guys saw I still have 61 Fates remaining setting me up for the next pity. Also with the 30 spent I nabbed myself another 6 Fates right away so I was at 67 with a bunch of primogems. Thanks to the current event today I'm already at 69 Fates. Nice.
Ok as for the Trials Xingqiu and Sucrose are oldies so there's not really much to say. I do feel like I did ok in them personally compared to previous runs. You guys can decide for yourselves. Same goes for Kokomi and I think I might want to build her up too because the few times I've used her in events she's been pretty good. Plus with her healing she's basically another kind of Zhongli. You'd likely not die with her and not only that but she'd bypass the Corrosion too since you could just heal it all back up.
My performance with Ganyu was bad this time. I'm not sure what happened but I was very sloppy. You pretty much want to get her set up with her Supports, use her Skill to draw enemies away, get some distance and then start using her Charged Shot. But I kept messing that up. I hope you guys could see I was trying to do that though. It's a little upsetting since I've had Ganyu since her initial release and she's been on my team since then too.
Finally the new character Dori. Honestly? I have no idea what to make of her. She's basically Sayu but without the Sonic speed. I'm not quite sure what to do with her. Her Electro application isn't really that impressive to me and neither is her Burst. I noticed IWTL also had some difficulty grasping her so I think I'll leave it to her Mains to figure it out. Still she's cute to have around and I like her animations.
Also I saw some of you guys yelling at me lol You know the whole your comments not showing up thing by now right? I was writing my comments for the Ei Character Quest but I was simultaneously also writing a reworking of my old Yae theory for reddit and that was long. It would have been so much longer had I not decided to bring up the major points and leave the rest of it as a link for further reading lol Even then you had a yoohoo say that I essentially wrote a 40 minute youtube lecture. If only they knew haha
On top of that I also spent the last 2 weeks trying to get the Bounties and Requests unlocked for Sumeru. Those World Quests are way too long! I am not doing them! Except for Vimana Agama because you get to pilot a Ruin Evangelion! Ok just its arm but I mean the cockpit looked so cool! Also the lore. Also it's a really interesting look at Khaenri'ahn technology. Anyway to get to level 2 I actually went around and tried to find as many chests as possible and that was not easy. I also had to get the Aranyaka story started at least just to be able to finish the Collei event. Suffice it to say I've been exhausted! You guys know I'm super casual right? The longest Archon Quests, plus an event with story in between, plus getting Aranyaka all the way to unlocking Vanarana, plus trotting around the whole region for chests. That's not how casuals play this game!
I think I had an easier time with Inazuma just because the Rep system started after the Archon Quests so I had naturally accumulated enough exploration to reach that 20% and then it was just a matter of doing a few quick World Quests. I'm still at only 40% exploration for Inazuma. But they couldn't really do that for Sumeru since they set it to last to v3.2 and that'd be November.
Anyway just wanted to get that off my chest lol Ei's next quest will be up soon so I'll see you guys for that. Until then!
