Much of the feedback about YouTube's Dislike count experiment points to the same thing - a lack of understanding of the technology that YouTube is working on - regardless of whether people like it or not. ๐Ÿค”

The progression of YouTube and other social media sites techwise has been from systems where people can bias the results to more automation and analysis to break past people's biases and just look at "actions speak louder than words."

When you consider some of the stuff YouTube's recently been working on, hiding the Dislike count is just underwhelming compared to the other stuff we know that they're up to. ๐Ÿค”
