Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished - The Final Chapter is a JRPG developed by Nihon Falcom originally for the PC-88 and PC-98 series in 1998. Over the years, it has received a number of ports and re-releases with this iteration being for the Ys I & II Chronicles collection for the Sony PlayStation Portable, released between 2009 and 2011 across all territories.

We rejoin Adol after the events of the previous game where he was shot out of Darm Tower in a beam of light. Awakening to find himself on the fabled island of Ys, he must figure out what his purpose is here, which ultimately leads to the origin and sordid history of magic.
