Ys IX: Monstrum Nox (PC) - Part 01 Prologue & Chapter 1
Here's the Prologue and Chapter 1 from the PC version of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox. Graphics settings are at maximum with 2560 x 1440 resolution and no supersampling (I may try that).
This port is by Engine Software and Durante's studio, PH3 Games. A nice selection of graphics options is available, including PCSS shadows, HBAO+, supersampling to raise the internal resolution, increased draw distance, higher framerates, resolutions beyond 4K and more. If you're using a higher resolution, watch it with the supersampling. Instead of using an external program to adjust graphics settings, you do it from the System menu.
When starting a new game, it will check for save data from Ys: Memories of Celceta (released by XSeed) and Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. If you have save data from these games, you are offered a couple of bonus accessories.

Before starting with Ys IX, you'll need to copy your Ys VIII save data over to %userprofile%\Saved Games\FALCOM\Ys8 , as shown in the post from NISA's Sean. GOG version owners, for step 2 you want to replace steamsave with save.
