As it turns out, this segment involves equal parts breaking someone out of prison, and putting a few ne'er-do-wells away inside. The latter also involves making use of another new team member's Gift, and an area with probably some of my favorite music so far in the game, even if it does seem slightly uncharacteristic of the Ys franchise.

The chapters are clearly beginning to increase in scope, as Chapter 4 provides multiple opportunities to unlock more parts of town, including optional "extra" areas. This is the first time the game has openly presented such opportunities, but it does have me wondering if there's anything I could've missed in earlier chapters, especially since I could've sworn I saw a sidequest indicator outside of the available area at one point...

Breaking someone out of prison seems as if it's also going to become a standard part of the chapter formula, as another such mission has surfaced at the beginning of Chapter 5. That'll have to be a task for next time, but I'm certainly interested to see what comes out of that, after how eventful the previous endeavor ended up being even just during the preparations.
