This boss is here to make sure you've learned the new abilities.

Difficulty: 5/10

This boss has a handful of attacks that required different answers. The basic biting attack, water bubbles that are annoying because they shoot out in a fan pattern then start homing towards your location like AC6 Balteus. Then there's the two mana bursts. It can shoot out seeds which create bramble barriers to stop your advance so you need to have Adol use a mana burst to burn the brambles. Or it can charge up to electrify the water in the arena so Karja needs to mana burst to freeze a small platform allowing the duo to dodge the giant shockwave.

Then the last two attacks are a belly flop just like Amdowzer which requires parrying and a blue laser beam which requires dashing through so you can absorb the mana and redirect it into an attack against the boss.

Not too hard but another teaching tool boss.

Storywise this is basically a test for Adol and Karja to be allowed to freely explore the seas and find the missing people of Karnak but once we reach the test island we find Iji except instead of attacking us he's fleeing from the other demons and they're trying to forcibly bring him back.
