Alpine Racer is a downhill skiing game, originally published in 1995 by Namco as an arcade game.

After a few sequels were made, Alpine Racer EX was released in 2007 for Japanese BREW phones. In 2008 this game became available in English for Verizon feature phones (including the VX11000 with a resolution of 800x480) under the name Alpine Racer (yet the files still have the name "alpineracerex").

A port was released in 2009 for the Zeebo based on the existing BREW version from 2007/2008, with enhanced graphics, sound and with added Portuguese and Spanish translations.

A version of the game was also released in 2009 for the iOS.

The player's goal is to win the King of the Mountain Tournament. Three mountains to run down are included in the campaign. The player must avoid obstacles while skiing downhill, there are logs, trees and other scenery elements.

In the Story mode, the player plays as either Shogo (a snowboarder) or Rina (a skier), each one with their own stats. After the race the player is attributed skill points which are used to improve player's stats.

In Time Attack mode the goal is to make the best time in a specific track. The player can see his own ghost from previous tries.
