Zeebo Footage: Hidden Mediaplayer
The Zeebo has a hidden mediaplayer built-in into the firmware, which is effectively a sample application from the BREW 4.0 SDK.
To access it, it is necessary either to modify the data of the Z-Wheel application to be able to access the application ID from the list of the games, or modify other configuration files (to either access the AppManager from the menu, or to have the AppManager instead of the main menu).
The Mediaplayer plays files from internal eMMC card located at path /mmc4/mod/mediaplayer/media
To place the media files there you have either to use the debug port of the Zeebo, or upload files from the SD card using the Memory copy function of the Debug Menu. In both cases the Zeebo needs to be unlocked or enabled for development.
The files on the SD card should be located in /mod/mediaplayer/media/ folder.
One of supported media formats is .mp4.
I converted a video from Youtube with Handbrake and made it play.
