Zeebo Footage: The Sims Medieval (BREW version)
7The Sims Medieval was an independent offshoot from the Sims franchise, released by EA in 2011.
It changed the setting to medieval times and offered a more linear experience than the main series.
Although the original PC game was in 3D, a stripped down version in 2D isometric perspective was developed for j2me, Blackberry and BREW phones. Full 3D mobile versions were made for the iOS and Windows Phone.
The stripped down version also had a simplified plot, compared to its elder brothers, and differently designed mini-games.
BREW version from some Verizon phone is demonstrated here. The screen was clipped and stretched in video post-processing, whereas the original game was designed for a 240x320 phone screen.
