Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Commentary) #102, Champion Daruk's Song: Shrines; Rudania's Trial

Previously, Link wrapped up the main quest "EX Champion Urbosa's Song". He discovered and completed the Kihiro Moh Shrine, and then he fought Thunderblight Ganon again at the Divine Beast Vah Naboris. He also went to the Eldin region and found the monument to start "EX Champion Daruk's Song". Now, he will seek the shrines for this quest.
Link resumes in Goron City after having spoken to Boss Bludo and Yunobo.
To start the search for the first shrine, Link teleports to the Gorae Torr Shrine on Gut Check Rock in the northeast (time 0:37). At Bayge's cookfire, he cooks a few more servings of Mighty Simmered Fruit with one Apple and four Mighty Bananas apiece.
Southwest of the Gorae Torr Shrine, there is an updraft coming up from below (time 2:24). Link uses it to gain altitude and then paraglides west. He climbs the ridge to the west. When he reaches the gray ground, he turns south and follows the path.
Past the underpass, he reaches the northeast shore of Lake Darman, a lava lake (time 3:55). He turns right and follows the lake's northern shore west. Look out for an Octorok on an island. When he comes in sight, he photographs the Igneo Talus Titan for the Hyrule Compendium.
Before approaching the enemy, Link mines some deposits nearby.
After eating a Mighty Simmered Fruit for the attack boost, Link approaches the Igneo Talus Titan (time 5:49). As with normal Igneo Taluses, Link should shoot its body with Ice Arrows to cool it off. This one is out in the middle of the lava, but Link can use the updraft to get onto its head. From there, he can smack the deposit on its head with his strongest melee weapon. The Boulder Breaker is excellent; holding Y to charge causes Link to spin it around.
Link soon defeats the Igneo Talus Titan (time 6:27). The shrine rises nearby on the northern shore of Lake Darman.
This is the Kamia Omuna Shrine (time 6:58). Link examines the pedestal to open the shrine and activate its travel gate.
Link enters the shrine (time 7:26). Kamia Omuna issues the trial Moving Targets.
To the left of the entrance, there is a cannon. Link must load it with a round Remote Bomb. After striking the switch to make the cannon turn, Link fires it in the middle of its turn to hit the target. The wall slides open to reveal another target. There is also a ledge with a chest to the upper right. Link first shoots down the chest. Then, he shoots the target. The target moves up and down. It is best shot in the middle of its track. Shooting both targets opens the door ahead of the entrance.
Link takes the path to the metal chest and snags it with Magnesis (time 9:20). The chest contains a Diamond. Not to be missed!
Past the first door, Link turns left to find another cannon. The apparatus nearby controls the structure in the middle of the gap. Link first has to adjust the structure so that he can shoot the third target with the cannon. Once he has shot the target, the fourth target is revealed behind it. Afterwards, Link has to adjust the structure so that he can shoot through it and hit the fourth target. Once he has succeeded, the door to the altar room opens.
Link examines Kamia Omuna's altar (time 11:35). He earns Rudania's Emblem #1. This updates the objective for "EX Champion Daruk's Song".
To begin the search for the next shrine, Link teleports to the Divine Beast Vah Rudania on Death Mountain (time 13:00). He glides southeast to the caldera's southern peak.
The first ring is on the caldera's southern peak (time 13:55). After going through it, Link goes through the series of rings. The time for each ring is fairly generous, but there is a lot of paragliding involved.
Link soon reaches the last ring (time 15:09). The shrine emerges just southeast of the Death Mountain Caldera.
Link finds the Sharo Lun Shrine (time 15:35). He examines the pedestal to open the shrine and activate its travel gate.
Link enters the shrine (time 15:58). Sharo Lun issues the trial Blind Spots.
Ahead, there are climbable blocks being moved down a track. Link must ride it past some flame jets. Naturally, he must stay away from the flames themselves.
After a rest area, Link finds a similar arrangement. After avoiding some narrow spikes, look out for weak Guardian Scouts to be deposited on three platforms. Shoot them down quickly. There are more spikes to avoid after them.
