Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Commentary) #052, Royal White Stallion; Gift for the Great Fairy

Previously, Link carried out the side quests "The Giant of Ralis Pond" and "Zora Stone Monuments" originating in Zora's Domain. In the process, he also found the Zora Helm in Toto Lake. Now, Link will continue sidequesting.
Link resumes at his house in Hateno Village.
He teleports to the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab in the northeast of Hyrule (time 0:41).
He talks to Cherry, the ancient furnace (time 1:13). He picks up 5 more Ancient Arrows in exchange for 400 rupees, 5 Ancient Springs, 5 Ancient Shafts, and 5 Arrows.
Link teleports to the Rota Ooh Shrine near the Outskirt Stable in the southwest of Central Hyrule (time 1:43). He glides down to the Outskirt Stable.
At the cookfire, he makes some Energizing Mushroom Skewers (time 2:40). For each skewer, he combines three Stamella Shrooms. This makes Energizing Mushroom Skewers that restore 4/5 of a stamina wheel and 3 hearts.
Link also chats with the folks around the stable. Beedle's wares include Hot-Footed Frogs, Restless Crickets, and Hearty Lizards.
One quest-giver is a Hylian named Trott (time 4:56). Trott asks for Raw Gourmet Meat. This starts the side quest "A Rare Find". Link does not have any of this meat to hand over, so he will handle this quest later.
Link also talks to a Hylian named Toffa (time 7:10). Toffa tells link about a white horse recently seen on Safula Hill to the northwest. He thinks it is descended from Zelda's horse. If Link finds and tames this horse, he should register it at a stable and bring it to Toffa. This starts the side quest "The Royal White Stallion". This is the quest that Link will work on first.
Link talks to Embry, the stable master (time 9:08). He takes out his horse Bruno to ride. Aboard Bruno, Link follows the road northwest from the stable.
Before he gets far, Link has to help an NPC fight off a nasty Silver Bokoblin (time 11:16).
He talks to the rescued NPC, Regan (time 12:11). Regan rewards Link with a serving of Hasty Milk.
Afterwards, Link mounts Bruno and continues along the road.
He crosses the Manhala Bridge into the Ridgeland region (time 13:08).
Link dismounts when he reaches Safula Hill (time 14:30). He puts on the Stealth gear set for added stealth. Then, he searches Safula Hill for the white horse. When he finds the white horse, he crouches down and sneaks up behind it. This horse is very sensitive to noise.
When Link has caught up, he mounts the white horse (time 15:59). The player must mash the L button to soothe this beast. Link will need a lot of stamina. Fortunately, he can eat a meal to restore his stamina in the midst of this. This is why he cooked the Energizing Mushroom Skewers earlier.
Before long, Link has soothed the white horse (time 16:24). Now, the horse will suffer him to ride it. However, it is still wild and wayward, so Link will have to be patient on the way back to the stable. It is good to praise the horse when it behaves. Link backtracks southwest and then east. Going at a full gallop is a bad idea.
Link reaches the Manhala Bridge (time 19:40). He crosses back into the Central region.
Eventually, Link reaches the Outskirt Stable (time 21:27).
He talks to Embry from horseback (time 21:48). He pays 20 rupees to register the new horse and get it a saddle and bridle. He names it Silver.
Then, Link reports in to Toffa from horseback (time 23:01). Toffa rewards Link with the Royal Saddle and the Royal Bridle for the white horse. Silver gets gloriously outfitted right away. "The Royal White Stallion" complete!
Afterwards, Link feeds Silver some Apples to strengthen their Bond. It appears that 10 Apples will do the trick.
Link talks to Embry again (time 25:54). He has Silver boarded. He also checks his Bond with Silver.
Inside, Link examines "Rumor Mill: Volume 3" (time 27:12). Traysi writes about the Koroks.
At the cookfire, Link sits until morning.
Next, Link teleports to the Shae Loya Shrine near the Tabantha Bridge Stable in the west of the Ridgeland region (time 28:13). He explores the Tabantha Bridge Stable.
Link talks to a Hylian named Toren (time 29:19). Toren asks Link to find the Great Fairy in the Tabantha region. When Link agrees, Toren hands over 500 rupees to offer the Great Fairy. This starts the side quest "A Gift for the Great Fairy". Apparently, in the afternoon, the Tabantha Tower's shadow will point to the Great Fairy Fountain.
